The Lizard’s Tale is the first book I’ve read by Kurt Kamm and
it is a good one. It starts with a rare Motagua Lizard from a small valley in
Guatamala that is transported through the country to Mexico and on to
California for the benefit of a cartel boss. We see inside the cartel, the DEA,
and firefighters.
It is interesting how fate and the curse of the Motagua
Lizard intertwine. Kamm’s descriptions of the lizard, the countryside of Guatamala
and Mexico made me feel I was right there.
